Frequently asked questions about TheLEN

About tlen.online: TheLEN

What is TheLEN?

TheLEN – The Learning Edge Nexus – is a learning and development platform where insight leads to real change. We offer structured learning journeys, coaching, consulting, and community for individuals, professionals and organisations who are working to close the gap between vision and reality.

Who is it for?

TheLEN is for individuals, professionals, teams, and organisations that want to grow – whether that’s building new skills, improving performance, or navigating change. If you’re looking for learning that goes beyond theory and fits into real life, TheLEN is built for you.

What makes TheLEN different?

Every course comes from someone who has actually done the work – facilitated the workshop, led the change, coached the leader. We co-design experiences. We focus on applied learning, not just content. That means:
  • Many options to explore new ideas
  • Interactive and practical sessions
  • Flexible formats that fit busy schedules
  • A strong community layer to keep the learning alive

Who's behind it?

We have a long-standing international network of practitioners working in leadership, learning, sustainability and meaningful change. (Link to Partners) Our courses are created and led by people including Marilyn Mehlmann, Stanley Nyoni, Boris and Jutta Goldammer, Sid Jordan, Barbara Grazzini, Rene Katerberg, André Benaim, Shepherd Urenje, Lana Jelenjev, Lonny Gold – alongside a wider circle of partner organisations across Europe and beyond. Each brings deep practitioner expertise and a genuine commitment to meaningful work.
or you.

Courses and Learning

What kind of courses will I find?

Our initial catalogue covers themes like Deep Listening, leadership, learning culture, education, collaboration, language skills, workplace effectiveness, behaviour change, and transformation – from easy-access materials to explore on your own, to webinars and courses. More options are continuously added. Each one is built around a skill you can take into your next conversation, meeting, or decision - whether you’re upskilling individually or as part of a team.

Are courses live or self-paced?

Both options are available. Some materials are entirely self-paced, so you can access them whenever it suits you. Others are live and interactive with a facilitator and other learners. Many programs combine both formats. A few are face-to-face. The course page always tells you which, before you enrol.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, most courses offer a certificate of completion, and some offer other forms of recognition. But honestly, the most useful thing you'll walk away with is the skill itself – something you can use the next day.

How do I find the right course for me?

Browse the catalogue by theme – most people know roughly what they want to get better at, and that's a good place to start. If you're choosing on behalf of a team or organisation, book a Discovery Call with us and we'll help you map offerings to your current situation.

For Organisations

Do you work with teams and organisations?

Yes, this is a big part of what we do. We work with HR, OD, and L&D teams to bring relevant, practical learning to their people – whether that's a single course offered to a team, or a program built around a wider goal.

Can you create custom solutions for us?

Yes. Our standard courses are ready to go as they are, but we also co-design learning by understanding what your organisational context is – then building something that genuinely fits.

Will this fit alongside the L&D programs we already run?

Absolutely. We complement and strengthen existing L&D efforts - bringing depth in specific areas like leadership, facilitation, or learning culture. We integrate with what you already have, fill specific gaps, and help take your program further.

Can we run a pilot before committing fully?

Yes, and we'd actually recommend it. Starting with a small group allows you to test impact, gather feedback, and then decide how to scale with confidence.

How do we get started as an organisation?

Reach out and tell us a bit about what you're working on. We'll set up a Discovery Call to understand your goals and recommend a starting point – one course, a bundle, or something built around your team.

What is a Discovery Call?

A free 45-minute conversation – no pitch, just listening. A short, no-obligation conversation where we can understand your goals and recommend a learning approach or solution.

Community

Is there a community around TheLEN?

Yes. Our community connects learners, facilitators and experts beyond our structured programs – a space to ask questions, compare notes, and keep the conversation going.

Who can be part of it?

Anyone learning with us, whether you're partway through your first course or have completed several. There's no separate application – it comes with being part of tlen.online.

How do I join?

You can sign up through our platform: tlen.online.

Pricing and Access

How much does your service or course cost?

It depends on the course, the scope and the format – self-paced, webinar, cohort-based, or a wider organisational rollout. Each works a little differently, and they are priced accordingly. Course pages set out pricing clearly, and organizations can request a tailored quote.

Do you offer rates for teams or groups?

Yes. If you're enrolling a team or planning a broader rollout, get in touch and we'll put together pricing that reflects the size and shape of your group.

How do I get started?

Individual learners: browse the site and enroll directly when something fits. If you're exploring options for a team, book a Discovery Call – whether you know exactly what you need or you're still figuring it out.

How can I get in touch?

Through the website – there's a contact form and a direct link to book your Discovery Call. We respond personally and are happy to help before you commit.

Support

What support do I get once I'm enrolled?

We provide ongoing support during your learning journey. Depending on your engagement this includes follow-up sessions, access to materials, ongoing navigational support, or community connection and also guidance where needed. You can also choose to contract with a personal coach, in one of numerous languages.

Can I ask questions before enrolling?

Of course. Reach out any time – we'd rather help you find the right fit upfront so you can make an informed decision.

What's your refund policy?

This depends on the course and format, and terms are always shared clearly before you enrol, so you know exactly where you stand from the start.
